Total fire-ban for large parts of Victoria

Large parts of Victoria are under a total fire ban as hot and gusty conditions threaten the state. Four districts in Central, Western and Southwestern Victoria have an extreme fire danger rating in place. The rest of the state is under a high fire danger rating. Authorities are worried recent wet conditions have contributed to abundant grass growth, providing more fuel for fires.
