Drunvalo's Dodecahedron is Not Ancient: A Course Correction for the Future of Sacred Geometry

In this video I show how Drunvalo Melchizedek's depiction of the Dodecahedron in his book the Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life is not accurate. I also discuss that Drunvalo discovered a way to draw the form relatively recently (40 years?), as he says so in his book. However, his version of the dodecahedron has become widely popularized through the notion that Metatron's Cube contains all the building blocks of creation, including the 5 platonic solids, which the dodecahedron is one of them. Yet, the dodecahedron represented there in the pattern is not ancient at all even if it is in a book with "Ancient Secret" in the title. In the video I show how the dodecahedron can be drawn as an orthogonal projection using sacred geometry drawing techniques. In this way the drawing maintains the phi proportion in the pentagon faces of the 3-d form in 2-d. I show how this can be done in the Golden Circles Seed of life, and explain why this is important for accessing many other forms that have been inaccessible to geometers in Metatron's cube, which does not produce the phi proportion the dodecahedron and icosahedron. I also address the most common defense I hear; which is the dodecahedron in Metatron's cube is a perspective drawing. In this video I show that it is not a perspective drawing by comparing it to a perspective drawing (done by Geometer Lukie Poole). I then go on to show what clusters of 12 dodecahedron and small stellated dodecahedron look like when drawn using golden circles as the template opening up a whole new terrain of possibilities. I also briefly describe how the Golden circles template is related to recent images that show quantum entangled states. I believe what is presented here is a course correction to the future of sacred geometry and of great service to future geometers. Those interested in this material have the opportunity to address the confusion at this early stage, before it keeps replicating. Sacred Geometry will continue to become ever more popular in the awakening consciousness of humanity, and for those that are drawn to working with sacred geometry either now or those geometers of the future generations, in my view what is provided to them should contain the eternal sacred template of creation, and not just something that look like it, but really isn't I only have love and respect for the amazing body of knowledge that Drunvalo compiled, and it's inspired so many including myself. So, I send a heartfelt thank you, and am thankful that sacred geometry continued to flourish in the consciousness of humanity through his efforts.
