Osasuna closed out the year with a 3–0 victory over Deportivo Alavés at El Sadar, in a match that was decided in the final stages. After a first half with few clear chances, the home side broke the deadlock in the 71st minute through Ante Budimir, who finished from the edge of the area. Shortly afterwards, the Croatian striker doubled the lead by converting a penalty, and deep into stoppage time Raúl García sealed the final 3–0 scoreline.
