This now tops off Necropolis as my 2nd hardest demon, only two days after. In my opinion, I feel that Leyak is only slightly harder than Necropolis, so this is a good step for me since it's been over 2 months that I had done Hypersonic. I started practicing right after beating Necropolis, and I did not expect to beat it so soon. The level was played with LDM on, but was still laggy in 1080p so I had to record in 720p. That's why it looks blurry even though it was exported in 1080p. Regardless, the level still looks decent with most background objects and foreground effects removed, with all the blocks almost fully detailed and still present. The gameplay is a ton of joy to play through, and a real masterpiece to watch. Being a fan of Marwec's gameplay, I had more fun learning the level, and there was nothing that really came as a nuisance to me. I still made some common fails, but that's to a failed timing that I constantly died to, like 57%. Speaking of 57%, I got really lucky with the rest of the level after it and this is definitely a big fluke to me. I knew that the rest of the level from there is practically free except the 70% UFO which you could die to if you lose control. What made the level hard is just the entire parts of the drop up to 57%, and I find that it's similar to Hypersonic where the middle of the level is where the hardest parts are. As I said, Leyak is now my 2nd hardest demon just 2 days after Necropolis. My heart was pounding really fast in the attempt that I beat it and I can't describe how much that is to me. How I beat so fast was really the motivation I had to beat it, which came from many different sources, I must admit. I don't know what to beat next as a really difficult demon for me since I have no motivation to play other demons (other than Acropolis). And who knows if I ever start to try topping off Hypersonic as my hardest demon. That's everything. Cheers :)
