Subjective Intuition (IN): Why Pop Typology Systems Get It Wrong | Hekatior

In this video ‪@TheEnneamentalist‬ presents The Hekatsjt Subjective Intuition type — a modernized interpretation of Van Der Hoop’s view on the introverted intuitive type that is adapted for the Hekatsjt framework. 🔧 Hekatsjt corrects Jung’s abstract/concrete slip by assigning it properly to N/S instead of I/E. Hekatsjt pure types (like EN, IN, etc...) are standalone and not meant to be mapped onto other systems. Similarities are coincidental. ✨ Ideal for those deepening their understanding of type processing beyond typology stereotypes. Ft. There are only four psychological functions — intuition, sensation, thinking and feeling.. E/I is a separate directional mechanism and it's the habitual use of E/I that determines the E/I factor. It’s important to note that most people have an equjective preferential orientation — colloquially known as ambiverts — demonstrating a fluid pattern that draws adaptively from external and internal stimuli. Ambiverts don’t qualify for any of the 8 pure Hekatsjt types, though an ambivert may still show a marginal E/I preference. 👉 IN is a pure type at Stage 3 of differentiation — meaning an introvert in whom intuition is dominant, sensation is most repressed, and no auxiliary is yet differentiated. You can think of IN as [I (N – X/Y – S) E] with a possible marginal X preference on the rational axis (T or F). ...Stop mistaking pure types for functions! 😉 And I add that subjective intuition has nothing to do with time - if anything it's timeless. Key IN takeaways: The Subjective Intuition type relies on personal insights and inner perceptions, guided by impressionistic understandings rather than tangible evidence, leading to creative yet occasionally impractical perspectives. Key IN traits: Dreamers, imaginative, artistic, aloof. Most common NLP patterns (variable by individual): Visual — moderate+, Auditory — low, Kinaesthetic — low/moderate [im, el]. Most common tendencies in cognitive skills: Strongly engages in semantic/associative memory and abstract/conceptual synthesis. Moderately engaging with imagery-driven visual gnosis and symbolic/poetic expression. Weaker engagement in sustained attention, planning/organization, procedural follow-through, interoceptive/bodily praxis and pragmatic/affective social cognition. Most common form of neurosis: An exclusive focus on internal intuition may lead to disconnectedness from reality, manifesting as over-idealization and detachment. Such a subject might experience emotional turbulence driven by an attachment to subjective beliefs, potentially obscuring the ability to discern when intuition is inaccurate. This condition can foster self-deception and a perpetual search for meaning that may alienate the individual from the surrounding world. 📘 Wanna learn more? However I made significant modifications, particularly addressing conceptual slips like the abstract/concrete misplacement that Jung originally overlooked. Hekatior expands on Jung's original framework by incorporating the hindbrain, which Jung omitted, as well as addressing any other limitations or slips in his theory. Notably Jung’s work includes only the think vs feel part and lacks a full exploration of action. Hekatior addresses this to improve the detection of psychic processing. Through this, I've updated Jung's insights into a trialectic system (starting with v3+).
