Silent Hiking to Frozen Lake Angeles | Olympic National Park | Port Angeles, WA

In this video I hike to one of my favorite spots, Lake Angeles, this time starting at Heart of the Hills entrance as I hike upward to the Lake through the forest. I hiked this in early March so winter is starting to transition to spring. Snow gradually builds up as I gain elevation. All I needed to get to the lake was microspikes. I brought my snowshoes hoping to hike up to Kahlinie Ridge from there, but there was too much snow on the slope face and given the avalanche danger I opted against it. This is one of my favorite spots in Olympic National Park.
