Has the Jack the Ripper case been solved? That is the question all students of true crime are asking. Welcome to the House of Lechmere PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, SHARE AND COMMENT BELOW! In this episode Edward Stow examines the claim made by Russell Edwards in his book 'Naming Jack the Ripper' that he has solved the Jack the Ripper case using DNA evidence. This is based on testing stains found on a shawl that was allegedly obtained by Acting Serjeant Amos Simpson of the Metropolitan Police at Mitre Square in 1888. This evidence allegedly links Catherine Eddowes to the suspect Aaron Kosminski. For the overall case against Kosminski, see my earlier film: • (50) Was Kosminski Jack the Ripper?
