2010-2015 Toyota Prius with Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack Crossbars

This complete multi-purpose base roof rack is for the 2010 to 2015 Toyota Prius 5 Door Hatchback that has the "bare" or "normal" roof, includes models equipped with a sunroof. Locks are recommended and available separately in match sets, see related products. The Thule Fit Kit 1566 is specifically engineered for the Toyota Prius. The kit includes protective rubber contoured pads which attach to the base of the Traverse Foot and rest directly on the roof. Custom formed metal brackets coated with protective Pebax® thermoplastic elastomer click into the Traverse Foot and grip to the vehicle's door frame. The Thule 480R Rapid Traverse Foot provides the strongest hold, safest fit, and has 50% fewer parts than other racks for the easiest installation. Thule AeroBlade load bars are strong, quiet, and aerodynamic providing maximum capacity, no whistling or howling, and low wind drag. The aluminum BoxBeam construction has a dedicated slot for foot attachment and a separate t-slot track for mounting certain carriers. The weight capacity for this Toyota Prius base roof rack is 110 pounds evenly distributed. The load bar length is 53 inches plus 1-3/4 inches for both end caps (total 54-3/4 inches). Distance from the front load bar to the rear is fixed at 27.5 inches, center to center.
