Breaking News - Al Azizia reference: Nawaz files supplementary plea in IHC ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday filed a supplementary plea in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to immediately hear his appeal against the accountability court's verdict in the Al Azizia reference. The accountability court found the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader guilty and sentenced him for as many as seven years. The petition submitted by Nawaz's counsel Khawaja Haris said that a two-member IHC bench has heard his plea. The IHC has clubbed petition seeking suspension of Nawaz’s sentence in the reference with the appeal against Nawaz’s conviction in the reference. Meanwhile, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed appeals on the accountability court's verdict on Flagship and Al Azizia reference. #GEONEWS #GEOBREAKINGNEWS #SpecialReport
