WHY GOD DID NOT KILL ADAM AND EVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER COMMITTING THE SIN [PART 2] - THE FRUIT [MURANZIWA] How are you friend, welcome to my channel. In our previous video, we learnt that God did not kill Adam and eve immediately they committed a sin because he was waiting for them to produce a fruit and the question was which fruit? In the bible, the book of genesis chapter one verse twenty eight, one of the blessings to Adam and eve by God was to be fruitful. In fact it was the first blessing. It is funny that God deliberately separated being fruitful and multiplying. I think God made two different blessings. By multiplying, he meant increase in number. That is, produce children. But being fruitful he meant something different that I would like us to discuss today. Many people relate being fruitful with producing children but is it supposed to be so? Do you think God can consider the first blessing as being fruitful but at the same time allow some human beings to be barren? By the way, do you know how many times God blessed humans by saying be fruitful in the bible? Actually many times. Do you know why God wanted his children to be fruitful? Don’t worry, by the end of this video you will have known. In the bible, the book of Matthew chapter three verse ten, john the Baptist talks about every tree which does not produce a good fruit being chopped and thrown into the fire. Actually, he was referring to human beings. Once again, which fruit? In the bible, the book of Mathew chapter thirteen verse twenty two, Jesus Christ explains the parable of the sower. This is the quotation from holy bible new living translation “the seed that fall among the thorns represent those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced.” Clearly, Jesus Christ was not talking about children. In the book of john chapter fifteen verse one and two, Jesus Christ says he is the true grapevine and his father is the gardener. God cuts off every branch which does not produce a fruit. In this chapter Jesus Christ explains the condition under which human beings can be fruitful. If you don’t follow this condition you can multiply but you cannot be fruitful. Please check out the condition in your bible by reading the book of john chapter fifteen. In this chapter, Jesus Christ also said to his disciples that he had chosen them to go and produce a lasting fruit, so that the father would give them whatever they asked for. In other words, god wants his children to produce a fruit because unless they produce a fruit, he cannot give them what they ask for. I wish I knew the fruit I am supposed to produce? But, from the book of Matthew chapter thirteen, I think one of the fruits is patience. I think the other fruits are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. What do you think? What does it mean by God created man in his own image? Let’s discuss this question in our next video. Thank you.
