Renuka Chowdhury is an MP of upper house of the Parliament, She is INC ( Indian National Congress) national spokesperson and member of Rajya Sabha for which she was elected in 2012. She decided to join politics and joined Telugu Desham Party in 1984. During her very early days in the political career she was nominated as a member of Rajya Sabha in 1986. Renuka Chowdhary is a former Indian Women and Child Development Minister. She soon became party’s prominent leader and their star campaigner. Her popularity was at all-time high in early 90’s and to cash in on that Party decided to re-elect her again as a MP of Rajya Sabha. After serving two consecutive terms she had differences within the party and decided to quit the party. The very same year she joined Indian National Congress.
