11 TV Hill analysis of the 2022 Maryland gubernatorial election

Tens of thousands of Marylanders have already cast ballots in early voting while others await Tuesday to make their choices. This Sunday, 11 TV Hill takes a look at the candidates and the issues on the ballot, and how the midterm election could affect the balance of power in Washington. The two men vying to be Maryland's next governor could not be more different. Democratic nominee Wes Moore, with an endorsement from President Joe Biden, hopes to become Maryland's first Black governor. While Republican nominee Dan Cox, an election denier, is campaigning on the policies and endorsement of former President Donald Trump. Although there's plenty of focus on who will be in the governor's mansion come January, two county executive races are neck and neck.
