Right next to the Turia Garden, in the Portal Nou square, we find the Falla Na Jordana, one of the Fallas of the special section. This Falla has been planted since 1884, being one of the oldest in the city. This monument, framed in the Special Section, has been very successful in the past with up to twelve first prizes. And that is one of the tributes that can be seen in the creation of Fallas artist Mario Gual. However, the main theme they raise refers to the “renaixensa” (Renaissance) of the Fallas after its cancellation due to the mandatory confinement due to the pandemic. Thus, in this falla you can see tribute scenes, such as the one dedicated to the clothing designers and the mayor Carlos Galiana is portrayed simulating the iconic image of Teodoro Llorente as a symbol of the Valencian Renaissance. You can also see the 'firefighters', who instead of putting out the fire had to light it to burn the fallas that began to be planted in 2020 but could not be dismantled. As special guests, four figures will represent the end of the cycle that the imminent Fallas 2022 represent. These are the angel of Na Jordana, the aviator of Cuba-Literato Azorín, the Lucrecia of the Kingdom of Valencia-Duke of Calabria and the Meditator of the City Council.
