Liverpool forward Sadio Mane tests positive for coronavirus

The Senegalese joins team-mate Thiago Alcantara in being sidelined by coronavirus, the Spain international's positive result having been revealed earlier this week. Mane faces a period of self-isolation as he recovers, meaning he will miss Sunday’s visit to Aston Villa and will be unable to report for international duty. A statement read: "The forward, who started and scored in Monday’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal, has displayed minor symptoms of the virus but feels in good health overall."
