David Adler and Arturo Desimone in conversation with Norman Finkelstein and Mouin Rabbani DiEM25

Interview of two intellectuals known for their original views on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Personal note: I consider this interview the high-point of three or so years' participation in the Diem25 movement, in which I collaborated with the foreign policy unit on a movement-wide questionnaire and foreign policy paper, conducted interviews (mostly for Diem25's UK channel as the show "Cosmopolitan Shipwrecks" with my buddy Mohammad), hosted the first ever Alternative Munich Security Conference as a counterweight voicing opposition to the MSC, and published dozens of articles collected at this link https://diem25.org/en/author/arturo-d... We recorded this interview with DiemTVs production house, to the background of an internal debate on what the movement's future posture would be on the Israel-Palestine conflict. I co-authored a policy proposal, visible here, https://diem25.org/wp-content/uploads... I thank the DiemTV producers for giving these ideas their due platform. Though we lost the AMV election we take pride in the "group of eleven's" (eleven members of the foreign policy group's) strategy, having the support of Noam Chomsky as one of the eleven signatories, and having won more than a third of the movement's votes in a debating campaign that pitted us against Greek MP economist Yanis Varoufakis and the leadership (see that debate here ) We still hope our strategy becomes the playbook for a movement in Europe that wants to effect change in the Israel Palestine conflict.    • E37: Israel-Palestine: What should our pos...
