Local high school senior dies after I-75/71 three-vehicle crash

FLORENCE, Ky. (WKRC) - A second person has died after a crash on I-75/71 in Boone County on Monday. The Hamilton County Coroner has identified her as Kathleen "Kit" Kincaid, 17. The crash involved three vehicles on the southbound lanes of the highway near Mt. Zion Road. Kincaid was in one of two vehicles initially involved in a minor accident that were on the side of the highway. Florence Police say a tractor-trailer driving by struck both vehicles and two people standing outside. Joshua Jones, 34, was also killed. A third person was also injured. No word on a condition. Florence Police say Kincaid was a senior at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. She was an organ donor who police say saved numerous lives. Police are still investigating the crash.
