HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET SOUL WOUNDS HEALED & BE DELIVERED? People all get hurt and wounded when growing up. Emotional hurts, negative words, verbal abuse. Hurts from their mom and dad, relatives, cousins, siblings, kids at school, dating, marriage, divorce, at work and at church, bullies. Betrayal, rejection, falsely accused. Exposed to porn and sexual violations. Even physical abuse. Then demons remind the person of all those who hurt them so they can’t forgive them from their hearts like Jesus says to do in Matthew 18:21-35. So demons will torment them in their minds and bodies. To get healed of your past wounds it’s important to ask Jesus to show you all those who hurt you from His perspective so you will learn how they were also hurt and wounded and had demons. Then you can more easily forgive them from your heart by giving all the toxic hurtful emotions you felt from them to the Lord to heal. Rejection, not good enough, anger, bitterness, sadness, unheard, unvalued, unworthy, etc. Then command all the demonic spirits that attached to your soul (mind, will and emotions) from the people who hurt you to go to the pit in Jesus name. Deliverance is a process. Significant breaking off of demons can take place in one effective inner healing and deliverance session but it often takes a person many months or years to truly forgive everyone who have hurt them depending on how deep the pain, how evil the person, if the abuser is still involved in your life and hurting you, how willing you are to give them to the Lord. Pride (Leviathan spirit in Job 41) often takes years to truly be delivered from. Pride often blinds a person to seeing their own need for deliverance as they see themselves as a victim and blames all their problems on others. The willingness to give up our sinful fleshly desires to obey the Lord may take years because we have freewill to do what we want or walk in obedience. We can only get delivered from what we are willing to give up. Giving up cussing, addictions, alcohol, smoking, vaping, drugs, eating unhealthy food, sugars. Sexual impurity. Porn. Masturbation. Ungodly music, bad tv shows, bad movies. Two of the hardest things to be delivered from are masturbation / sex outside of marriage and eating unhealthy food / gluttony because it takes self control (a fruit of the spirit). You will know you are healed and delivered when your struggles with your flesh are no longer a struggle anymore and you are regularly walking in the fruits of the spirit. Galatians 5:19-26 NKJV “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
