Lec-9|OSI Layers| Physical | Data Link Layer | Session | Network | Open System Interconnection Model

Data communication refers to the exchange of data between two or more networked or connected devices. These devices must be capable of sending and receiving data over a communication medium. Examples of such devices include personal computers, mobile phones, laptops, etc. Data Communication is a process of exchanging data or information In case of computer networks this exchange is done between two devices over a transmission medium. This process involves a communication system which is made up of hardware and software. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the previous lecture we have read the following Topics: What is Distributed Processing Advantages of Distributed Processing OSI seven layers Open System Interconnection What is Protocol Data Unit OSI Environment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Organizations of Seven Layers Of OSI models Complete Description's of OSI layers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the previous Series of Cs Knowledge we have explain the video series of: Operating System Distributed Networks Database Management System Database Administration _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the course of "Data Communications and Networks. In this lecture we will read Chapter-1(Components of Data Communications System). In this video we will learn below points: The essential components of data communication are: Message: Information (data) to be communicated (e.g., text, numbers, pictures, video) Sender: The device that sends the data message (e.g., computer, video camera) Receiver: The device that receives the message (e.g., a computer, workstation, television) __________________________________________________________________________ See Complete Course of Operating System: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------    • Introduction to OS || Chapter-1 || Operati...   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ See Complete Course of Distributed Database Systems: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------    • DDBS-Distributed Database Systems|| Comple...   Full course Operating System    • 4.1||Threads||Operating Systems|Chapter 4|...      • Lec||3.10 ||Inter process communication|Pr...      • 5.1||Process Synchronization ||Critical Se...      • 6.1|| CPU Scheduling|| Scheduling Objectiv...      • 6.2||What is CPU Scheduler?||Short-term Sc...      • 6.3|| What is Dispatcher?|| Dsipatch Laten...      • 6.4|| Scheduling Criteria || CPU Schedulin...      • 6.5|| FCFS(First Come First Serve) Schedul...      • 6..6||Shortest Job First||Operating System...      • 6.7|Shortest Remaining Time First (SJF Wit...      • 6.8|Priority scheduling Algorithm with Exa...      • 5.1||Process Synchronization ||Critical Se...      • 5.2||Process Synchronization ||Critical Se...   CPU Scheduling Chapter 6 opearting System Complete Playlist    • 6.1|| CPU Scheduling|| Scheduling Objectiv...   Distributed Database Systems Complete Playlist    • Lec-1|| Introduction To Distributed Databa...   Threads chapter 4 in operating System playlist    • 4.1||Threads||Operating Systems|Chapter 4|...   Database Administration complete Playlist    • DBA-1.1|| Introduction of Database Systems...   Process Management Chapter 3 Operating System Complete playlist    • Lec-3.1 ||Process Management||Process Stat...   Computer Networks Complete Playlist    • 1.2: BGP(Border Gateway Protocol) Overview...   System and Network Administration Complete Playlist    • System and network administration|| What i...   #cs Knowledge (Subscribe , like & share)
