With the Shepherds by Mary E. Downey
The sacred aria "With the Shepherds" was written by Minnesota composer Mary E. Downey (1895–1994). Mary composed the music as a Christmas song in 1935, but then reset the music to this text at a later date. This performance was sung by Stephen Schmall at Mary Downey's funeral on January 10, 1994.
