It is a slow cooked traditional Indian halva aur pudding made by simmering carrots and milk. carrathalwa is popularly known as gajar ka halwa, gajrela or gajar halwa. It is mainly made during the winters as carrots are full in this season. it is generally made by using Delhi carrot or red carrots. Carrot halwa is one of the classic Indian sweet that tastes so delicious, flavourful, decadent and is also gluten free and full of nutritions that's perfect for festivals or any occasion.
