Tanzania announces a new cap on fuel prices

Tanzania's Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority has announced a new cap on fuel prices. Petrol and diesel costs have reached record highs. In Dar es Salaam, a litre of petrol is now 1, 46 dollars, up from 1,38 dollars last month. A litre of diesel costs 1,43 dollars, up from 1.36 dollars. SABC's Daniel Kijo has more.
