Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. . . सनातन धर्म में नवरात्रि का पर्व बहुत धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है. वैसे तो साल में चार बार नवरात्रि का पर्व मनाया जाता है. जिसमें दो बार गुप्त नवरात्रि और एक शारदीय नवरात्रि तथा दूसरा चैत्र नवरात्रि. धार्मिक ग्रंथो के अनुसार नवरात्रि के नौ दिनों तक मां दुर्गा के नौ स्वरूपों की पूजा आराधना करने का विधान है. मान्यता है कि इस दौरान मां दुर्गा अपने भक्तों के बीच धरती पर निवास करती है. चैत्र माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रतिपदा तिथि से चैत्र नवरात्रि की शुरुआत होती है. इस वर्ष चैत्र नवरात्रि 9 अप्रैल से शुरू हो रही है जिसका समापन रामनवमी पर होगा.
