2022 SCCA Runoffs | VIRginia International Raceway

Intense and incredibly addictive, the Sports Car Club of America's National Championship Runoffs sees hundreds of the best road racers in the nation gather each year to compete in the winner-take-all battle for the coveted title of SCCA National Champion. In 2022, the SCCA returned to VIRginia International Raceway, marking the second time in the event's 59-year history that Runoffs racers would wind through the 3.27-mile, 18-turn circuit in Alton, VA. In all, 26 class champions were crowned, but to get there, drivers had to battle not only their nerves and the competition, but also the remnants of a persistent hurricane. Arguably the most challenging three days of racing in the event's history, the 2022 SCCA National Championship Runoffs threw everything at drivers, crew, and volunteers.
