3 Think Outside the Box Aug 26 2012 Pastor Curt Crist

Pastor/Teacher Curt Crist www.welcometograce.com Just an interesting side note here, you'll recall that God took a rib from Adam and from that rib, God made Eve. Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Does that remind you of another passage? Can anyone think of another passage from Paul where he talks about members of His Body and the flesh of His bones? Here's Adam saying, "...bones of my bones and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was (notice it) taken out of Man." In other words, Eve was given a body. a body that was out-sourced from Adam's body. Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Spiritually, you're united to Christ judicially and spiritually right now if you've trusted in the justice resolving cross-work of Jesus Christ at Calvary when He died for your sins. This is why God calls believers today the Body of Christ. Does this mean that when we receive our new bodies, our glorified bodies that those bodies will actually in some sense, be outsourced from Christ's glorified body? Interesting speculation, is it not, when we think of changing our bodies, could it be outsourced from Christ's Body? There are those who would say, "Yes, that might be the case, but it's speculative." It makes no difference. Your new body will be a glorified body and will be just like His. It's an interesting thing to ponder for those who are willing to think outside of the box. I thank God for those Pastor/Teachers and the men of time past who were willing to think outside the box of traditional religianity and rediscover through God's Word the revelation of the mystery. If they hadn't been thinking outside of the box and they had stayed with what their denominational structure was teaching, where would we be today? We wouldn't have a clue that Paul's apostleship was unique and that it was for us. He's the apostle of the Gentiles.
