Sega Genesis Collection PS2 - Retro Games [All 33 Games Shown]

In this video, we take a look at the Sega Genesis Collection (Also known as the Sega Mega Drive Collection outside of the US). This great retro game collection features most of the big hitters from the Sega Genesis's large library. There are a grand total of 33 titles included here, along with extra features such as interviews with some of the original developers. 27 Mega Drive games are available from the start, with an additional 6 classic Sega arcade games to unlock by completing tasks, such as finishing the first level of the game. I also own the PSP version of the Sega Genesis Collection and noticed the six unlockable games were different on that handheld version. (Update: You can find my video on the PSP version here:    • Sega Genesis Collection PSP - Retro Games ...   ) As with many of these retro collections, Digital Eclipse was responsible for the porting, and they have done a fantastic job. The emulation quality is good overall and not as soft as other collections like Taito Legends. In the menus, there are options to adjust screen size, save your high scores to a memory card, and there's even a 480p mode included in the PAL release, which is a very welcome addition as it scales a lot better to modern televisions and displays. All in all, I can say this collection is worth picking up for any retro game enthusiast, especially if you love Sega games. It's just a bit of a shame that they didn't include Sonic 3 & Knuckles or any of the fantastic 16-bit Disney titles.
