President Kenyatta: We Will Triumph Over Terror

President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again defended the integrity of the Kenya defence forces following widespread claims that looting took place when the officers were carrying out rescue operations at the Westgate mall. The president told Kenyans that security organs need support rather than condemnation and urged the media to exercise caution when reporting on security matters. The president, who was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto, made the remarks during a special prayer service for the disciplined forces at the Holy Family Basilica.
