November 22 2022 MANHATTAN, New York - Migrants gathered outside of Manhattan’s "Shelter hotel" Nyma Hotel at 6 West 32nd Street to protest current living conditions. The hotel houses both unhoused families and dozens of newly arrived migrants. An ambulance was called to a migrant child allegedly sickened by food provided at the hotel. Activists from La Morada, an immigrant hub and resultant in the Bronx, arrived with hot meals and said they discovered the ambulance outside. Migrant residents poured outside to speak out about mistreatment they face at the hotel. They say there is no heat on the 2nd flood of the hotel, spoiled food and milk, lack of hot water, and the donations they received being taken away. Video by Olga Fe (FreedomNewsTV)
