SP Train 71 "The Coast Mail" passes the Surf Local.
It's the spring of 1955 on the Coast Line, and Train Master 4811 runs past Baldwin 5231, today's power for the Surf Local. Those two head-end express reefers on #71 are loaded with strawberries, and are northward-bound to the Bay Area.
