This is video #034 in my Final Fantasy IV playthrough. In the Tower of Zot, the party reaches level 6F. Before heading up the stairs to face Golbez and Kain, be sure to unequip everything you want from Tellah. In the scenes that follow, he leaves the party without any possibility of coming back. Sad scenes. Fortunately, the party gets Kain back, and they save Rosa in the very nick of time. The new party is a bit heavy on physical attackers, but that won't last long. Immediately when you regain control, it is a good idea to go in and equip Rosa with Tellah's old armor. Whatever arrows you have and a GreatBow will be good weapons, or a staff of your choosing if you dislike bow and arrows. If you have that Tiara headgear from the village of Mist, that is a good choice, also. When the party moves to leave the top floor, they are attacked by the third elemental fiend: the Devil of Wind, Valvalis. This tramp can be a bit tricky. She protects herself inside a whirlwind. In this state, she can use the Wind attack, which reduces a party member's HP to critical. She also uses Glare, which inflicts Petrify on a party member. Cure that damage with Cure2 or a HiPotion, and heal the Petrified party member with Esuna, a Soft, or a Remedy. Above all, have Kain use the Jump attack to get her out of that whirlwind ASAP. In her normal form, she has quite a striking appearance, as well as punishing physical attacks. During this time, Cid, Cecil, and Yang can attack normally. If everyone's HP is up, Rosa can attack with Aim if she's equipped with a bow and arrows. Otherwise, she should use Cure2 or Esuna. Cecil is a useful backup healer. Kain should Jump every turn, because Valvalis will return to her whirlwind form quickly. Thank you for watching! This video is part of my Final Fantasy IV Playthrough playlist.
