Just as Fusion started to regain consciousness, a loud CAW rang throughout the air. A crow was nearby. Turbo’s shell revved at the first sign of danger, as the sound of flapping wings grew closer. “T-Turbo…” Fusion piped up shakily, looking up at him in fear. “I’m right here. I won’t leave you,” Turbo gently reassured her, giving her one last comforting smile before glaring up at the crow that landed a few feet away. Turbo’s shell revved again and glowed with power, trying to look more threatening. The crow was not easily spooked, spreading its wings and opening its beak to screech at the snails. Turbo stood his ground; he would do all he could to protect anyone helpless, even if that person was just recently an annoying rival and copycat.
