Creating a Twin Cylinder Air Engine - Part Two Starting on the simple bushes, from modelling to printing on the Creality K1 3D printer Engineering design. ‘Mel’ the Engineering Geezer here. So what’s on the menu? Well we got to start somewhere, so we will start with something simple, the Bushes. Using Solidworks to generate models right through to 3D printing, assembly and test. This second episode will see me creating the bushes for the twin cylinder engine all the way through to print. You will see why I chose the methods I used to 3D model both sizes. Including how to modify your parts if they are not quite what they should be on the assembly. I will show you how this printed and as we progress show you how to simple set up you printer from slicing and the physical print of the bushes. Week by week we will build up all the parts showing the process of 3D modelling, slicing parts using Creality Print all the way through to 3D printing on a Creality K1 3D printer. The assembly and test will develop your hand skills and problem solving to create something that actually works and something to be proud of. Every project after this will become harder to model, make you think how to get the best out of your print and build the knowledge and skills engineers need to succeed in the industrial environment. Sometimes it ain’t no disco baby. Isn’t that nice! Join me to see how its done. Created with Wondershare Filmora
