Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition Demo - 4K High, Highest Settings Performance (GeForce GTX Titan X)

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition: 4K High and Highest Settings Performance (GeForce GTX Titan X) Here's a look at Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. I grabbed the demo so I could see just what all I could do in the game with the GeForce GTX Titan X. The Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition demo comes with the High-Res 4K textures and are turned on or off automatically depending on your hardware specification. I, of course, began testing the game at the highest settings in 4K to see what the performance would do. Unfortunately, as you can see, it averaged below 25 FPS with dips that made it into the teens. I then switched to High settings to see what I could do with that and it improved things slightly, but the real improvement came from doing a custom setting with a mixture of high and highest settings. The video details which settings I used, including the specific settings at the end which kept the game at a playable frame rate when playing in 4K resolution. I could definitely feel the drag on performance with High and Highest settings, but once I changed to my custom settings the gameplay then became very smooth and enjoyable. Obviously, there's a lot more tinkering that can be done for users playing in 1080p and 1440p. I imagine most 1080p players will be able to handle maximum settings just fine if you have a high-end graphics card. I hope you enjoyed this video!
