The Ultimate Watercolor Family Home Portrait!

A look at the watercolor painting I was able to create of my family's home. I painted this using Holbein Professional watercolors. I prefer Holbein watercolors because of their consistency in color and vibrant, lasting pigment. I always like professional pigment. It may cost more but is worth it - you use less in the long run and get spectacular results. My favorite is 140 lb cold press paper. It holds the water and paint beautifully and is strong enough for you to gently rub out he color if you need to make changes.
