Battleground 2021: Tamil Nadu (Part-2)

The election for 16th Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will be held on April 6 and the counting of votes is on May 2. The state is all set for the biggest electoral event that is State Assembly Election 2021. All political parties have picked up the pace and are busy deciding their candidates and stitching alliances based on various permutations and combinations in specific states.The main contest is between AIADMK, which is hoping for a hattrick and DMK that wants to wrest power after 10 years. This is the first assembly election after the demise of two legendary political leaders, Jayalalithaa and M. Karunanidhi as they died in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
