The Tour Of Britain 2019 Chopwell.

The Tour going through Chopwell. Unfortunately, the video is crap but at least its better than the non existent TV footage of the race from Whickham, all the way through to Shotley Bridge, a distance of about 10 miles give or take! If you watched it live then you might have seen at least some of the missing footage but if, like me and anyone else who actually got out and watched it for real, you were left with the very heavily edited "highlights". Apparently, there was NOTHING of any interest from Whickham to Shotley Bridge! No descent of Swalwell/Whickham bank, no climb of what must be by far the steepest main road in the region aka Shibdon bank and then nothing till they got to Shotley Bridge. Given the disruption this event caused along its route during the day, you'd have thought they might have at least paid lip service to the communities affected but no, nothing. Never mind eh?
