Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. PROVERBS 16:3 If you’re not happy with the situation you’re in right now, will you make the effort to change it? Do you want to be in the same situation this time next year? Or do you want something different? If you want to have something different, ask for the Lord’s direction and then start moving that way. You can choose to pay the price on this end to have what you want later on. You will have to spend some of this year moving toward your goals for next year. As you move forward, you’ll need to make tough choices, and you’ll come to some painful crossroads. But when you reach these places, press through. If you press through, you can be thankful that God is with you to help and strengthen you. If you begin working toward your goal now, you’ll have the victory you long for later on. Prayer: Father, I pray that You will help me be disciplined enough each day to move toward my goals. I thank You that You have a good plan for my life, and if I’ll do my part, You will always do Your part. Amen.
