A Soulful Morning Routine #shorts #ashortaday

Soul soothing acts to start the day, they will set the mood, pace and intention for the day, a need we do not usually prioritise. Below are my morning building blocks: 1) Lighting **Incense sticks**: satisfied senses will lift the mood instantly, my favourite are Nargis and Jasmine from @phool.co . 2)Skincare and **sunscreen**: Telling your body that you’re here to take care of it. Giving attention to the skin, addressing its needs and nourishing it will go a long way 3)Light **stretching**: to get into the active mode 4) A whole lot of *water* 5) Even if just a *chapter of a book* relevant to your current situation: Eg. Atomic habits if you’re trying to get better at your routines. I’m currently reading Almanack of Naval Ravikant, a guide to wealth and happiness because I’m working on my content creation business and every page has valuable lessons 6) Soaking the **sun**: Atleast 15 mins in the morning, for vitamin D but more importantly it instantly lifts my mood 7) **Cats**: They just make me so happy. Watching them completely living in the present and feeeling it! 8) Being around plants: feet touching the ground and hands touching everything nature is going to remind you of your natural state 9) **To Do list**/ Workflow: Setting intention for the day, so you know the order of execution, your expectations out of the day. To take everything out of your head and into a list, so mind is freer and has space for actually getting to those tasks. You’ll also have a way to measure your focus at the end of the day. .
