North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has been unanimously elected to Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea, reports Reuters. According to local media, the turnout was 100% . In the previous elections, 687 deputies were chosen. Elections were held unopposed, the electoral district nominated only one candidate. Koreans have the choice of voting 'yes' or 'no'. Supreme People's Assembly is the highest legislative and representative organ of the DPRK. Elections of deputies are held every 5 years. These elections were for the first time for Kim Jong Un, since he came to power in 2011. He is also the Eternal General Secretary of the "Workers' Party of Korea", and the chairman of the National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander.
