Exercise Highball 2023 trials ADF's new HIMARS System
In accordance with recommendations from the Defence Strategic Review 2023, Defence is rapidly preparing for the introduction into service of mobile land-based precision long-range rocket artillery and maritime strike missile systems. In a combined US – Australian initiative, Exercise HIGHBALL is being conducted over July – August 2023 to refine how the ADF will employ long-range multi-domain strike systems. Conducted from Lancelin into the Western Australia Exercise Area by Australia’s Headquarters Joint Operations Command and the US Indo-Pacific Command, Exercise HIGHBALL demonstrates the ADF’s commitment to the Defence Strategic Review 2023 recommendation that LAND 8113 Phases 2-4 – Long-Range Fires should be accelerated and expanded. #youradf @usarmy Want even more videos like this?
