From healthcare professional to cooking enthusiastic, everyone needs to measure temperature, and the most used temperature unit is Fahrenheit and Celsius. We frequently require converting from one another. Manually calculating each conversion is tedious and error prone. Fortunately, Microsoft Excel can automate this process in seconds, turning any list of temperatures into a perfectly converted dataset. In this tutorial I’ll show you how to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius in excel. There are several ways to do it and in this excel tutorial I’ll walk you through how you can convert °F to °C using excel function. Temperature conversion in excel can be done easily using the CONVERT function. It has built-in parameters to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Let’s say we need to convert 400 Fahrenheit in Celsius. We need to use the below function The Excel Function =Convert(Number, From Unit ,To Unit) Here in this function, the first parameter “number” is the number you want to convert from °F to °C The second parameter “From Unit” will be “degree Fahrenheit” or “F” The last parameter is “To Unit” which will be “degree Celsius” or “C” Here is how to use convert function In Excel: • How to Use Convert Function In Excel Now let’s use the function and convert 400 f to c. Lets assume we have 400 in cell A2 and in Cell B2 we need to convert it into Celsius. In Cell B2 we’ll write the following formula; =Convert(A2, “F”, “C”) Now if you press enter you’ll get 204.4444444 which you can round down to 204°C This is how you can convert degree Fahrenheit to degree Celsius in Microsoft Excel. Low & Slow / Baking: 275°F = 135°C (Slow cooking, dehydrating) 300°F = 150°C (Slow roasting) 325°F = 163°C (Moderate baking, often for longer times) Standard Baking & Roasting: 350°F = 177°C (The most common baking temperature for cookies, cakes, casseroles). 375°F = 191°C (Baking, roasting vegetables, pies). 400°F = 204°C (Roasting vegetables, cooking fries, baking pizza). High-Temp Roasting & Searing: 425°F = 218°C (Crispy roasting, baking bread). 450°F = 232°C (Very high-temperature roasting, pizza, searing meat). 475°F = 246°C (Maximum temperature for many home ovens). 500°F = 260°C (Broiling, achieving a professional sear). Body Temperature: 95°F = 35.0°C (The threshold for hypothermia). 98.6°F = 37.0°C (The classic "normal" benchmark). 99°F = 37.2°C (Elevated Temperature / Low-Grade Fever). 100°F = 37.8°C (Often considered the threshold for a fever). 101°F = 38.3°C (Definite Fever). 102°F = 38.9°C (Definite Fever). 103°F = 39.4°C (High fever, should seek medical attention). 104°F = 40.0°C (Serious fever, requires immediate medical care). Weather: 70°F = 21.1°C (a pleasant day) 80°F = 26.7°C (a warm day), 32°F = c" (freezing point of water) 100°C / 212°F (Boiling point of water at sea level) #Formula #fahrenheit #celsius Thanks for watching. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Become a member and enjoy exclusive perks while supporting the channel you love!: / @excel10tutorial Support the channel on Patreon / excel10tutorial ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please subscribe for more excel tutorial https://goo.gl/uL8fqQ Here goes the most recent video of the channel: https://bit.ly/2UngIwS Playlists: Excel Tutorial for Beginners: https://goo.gl/UDrDcA Intermediate Excel Tutorial: https://tinyurl.com/59a837py Advance Excel Tutorial: https://goo.gl/ExYy7v Excel Data Validation: Allow Specific Entries, Dates, Dropdown lists and More: http://bit.ly/49kV7vD Excel Text Case Conversion Techniques: https://goo.gl/xiP3tv Combine Workbook & Worksheets: https://bit.ly/2Tpf7DB All About Comments in Excel: https://bit.ly/excelcomments Excel VBA Programming Course: http://bit.ly/excelvbacourse ChatGPT Excel Mastermind: https://tinyurl.com/46kn7tmd How to Manipulate Text in Excel: Split, Combine, and Change Case: https://bit.ly/4oPV93l Lock & Protect Cells, Sheets, and Workbooks in Excel: https://bit.ly/47B9zNx Social media: Facebook: / excel10tutorial Twitter: / excel10tutorial Blogger: https://excel10tutorial.blogspot.com Tumblr: / excel10tutorial Instagram: / excel_10_tutorial Hubpages: https://hubpages.com/@excel10tutorial Quora: https://bit.ly/3bxB8JG Website: https://msexceltutorial.com/
