George Clooney SLAMS Alec Baldwin & Producers for INSANE Rust Tragedy Alec Baldwin kills cinemaphotographer. What were Halyna Hutchins last moments? In October 2021 Alec Baldwin shot a gun on the set of his film, Rust, preparing for a shootout scene which was taking place inside a church where he accidentally killed Halyna Hutchins, a 42 year old cinematographer. This accidental shot also injured the director on the set of Rust, Joel Souza aged 48. According to the Los Angeles Times, their sources confirmed Halyna Hutchins last words. She told a boom operator "Oh, that was no good. No, that was no good. That was no good at all." Before the accident took place, Alec Baldwin was handed the prop gun by assistant director, David Halls, who took the firearm from collection set up by armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. It is suspected that the firearm was taken out of the safe in a truck by prop master, Sarah Zachry. When handed over to Alec Baldwin he reportedly said "So I guess I'm gonna take this out, pull it and go, 'Bang'!" Alec was allegedly under the impression that the firearm (a .45 caliber Colt revolver) was a 'cold gun' - a prop gun with dummy rounds. Investigators have confirmed that Baldwin was the last person to hold the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins. When Alec shot the firearm mortally wounding Halyna Hutchins and injuring Joel Souza, Baldwin was said to have repeatedly been asking "What the f**k just happened?"
