Hawksbill Turtles on The Brink of Extinction | WWF-Australia

Hawksbill turtles are one of the most beautiful and important species in the ocean. Their shell, known as tortoiseshell, is made up of an unique pattern of amber, yellow and brown colours. Sadly, holidaymakers are unwittingly and unknowingly helping to push the hawksbill turtle to the brink of extinction by innocently purchasing exotic souvenirs while overseas.
