November 29 2025 MANHATTAN, New York - FULL VIDEO: Anti-ICE Protest Clashes in Manhattan - Federal Agents in Chinatown Clashes erupted in Lower Manhattan on Saturday as protesters confronted police outside a parking garage where federal agents were already staged amid rumors of a planned immigration raid, according to police and witnesses. The demonstration began around 10:45 a.m. at Centre and Hester Streets on the edge of Chinatown. Protesters gathered at the entrance of the garage while federal agents remained inside; the only units arriving were NYPD officers and members of the Strategic Response Group responding to the growing crowd. NYPD placed metal barricades outside the garage, but they quickly became part of the confrontation — shoved back and forth between officers and anti-ICE protesters during repeated standoffs. The tension held for nearly an hour as more people arrived. The standoff escalated at about 1:15 p.m. when federal vehicles attempted to exit. Protesters rushed forward and dragged garbage bins and trash bags into the street to block the path of the vehicles, while using their bodies to stand in front of the cars as they accelerated out. The blockade briefly extended onto Canal Street as protesters ran after the vehicles. Additional shoving between police and protesters spilled into live traffic as the federal vehicles drove off at speed. Video by Ken Lopez @FreedomNTV [email protected] to license
