This time you can play as not only Mario but Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Blue and Yellow Toad, Toadette, Nabbit and four Yoshi's (Green, Red, Yellow and Blue). Mario - Toadette can use power-ups but take damage and Nabbit - Yoshi's no power-ups but take no Damage. It's a very interesting concept and I hope Nintendo keeps offering character selections like this in future games.
