"Pokemon X & Y are too easy!"

Try turning off the Exp Share, newb. Disclaimer, I only turned my Exp share once to grind my party for about 2-3 levels just after the second gym, then I turned it off until this point. I'd argue it's still not THAT hard, but without it, the levels can really ramp up, especially if you already have 6 pokemon before the 3rd gym (Got a Meowstic in PC before replacing him with Gabite). Also, Ramos' Gogoat kicked by behind hard before this, only RNG saved me in that battle.
