Continuous Recording compared to Event Based Recording

The video on the left hand side presents Continuous Recording. Once the security camera detects motion, the camera will record footage until it no longer detects movement. The video on the right shows Event Based Recording. The camera will turn on when it detects motion and record for a specified period of time, usually 10 seconds.
