Let's Play Oblivion - Part 1: A Wizard is Never Late

Welcome to my Let's Play of The Elder Scrolls: IV - Oblivion. This will be a modded playthrough and the mods I'm using along with my load order will be listed below. Please do not ask me for help installing them - it's pretty straightforward, just make sure you have a mod manager and the latest version of BOSS. This will be a slower playthrough than perhaps many of you are used to, as I will be roleplaying. If the lack of pace irritates you, then I suggest you find another LP as this one really isn't for you. The idea of this Let's Play is to tell a story with my character, and view the world from his perspective, rather than from the perspective of a player. As such I will not be metagaming. What this means is essentially, I shall be acting only within my character's knowledge - I can only go to places he knows about and has a reason to go to, for example. So please do not spam me with suggestions for special loot I could go and get or different dungeons I could go into, since I wouldn't go somewhere my character has no way of knowing about. Feel free however to make suggestions that would fit the character if you like. I will not be doing the main quest, and I will only be touching briefly on some of the Mages Guild. I won't be doing Knights of the Nine either and most likely not The Shivering Isles - becoming the madgod isn't really something I see this character doing! So please don't suggest that I do these.
