It's subtle but there's also some use of the JST widener plugin. Had a bit of a play using and instrument bus and setting a fast compressor to react to the snare with the aim of stopping it poking through the mix quite so much but still being prominent. Gear used; My trusty Dean Cadillac Select as always, into a UA-25EX hooked up to Logic X. _______________ Signal Chain; TSB-1 Tyrant, Noise Gate, Le456 amp sim, LeCab with a combination of God's cab, Marshall and Diezel Impulses, Stereo Tape delay set to 0 delay so that it acts as tape saturation, and finally a bit of subtractive EQ to just tidy up the sound a bit as always.
