Dancing in church! What is your perception of church and its attitude or perspective on the subject? What were you taught growing up? Dance is a physical form of expression, but we also use it in English as a metaphor. And, it turns out we all do a fair amount of ‘dancing’, perhaps of both, but certainly of the metaphorical kind. We dance around delicate subjects, awkward conversations, ethical dilemmas, or slippery situations. But, do we notice the dance we do? There is good reason for followers of Christ to dance, physically, and literally. It has been an integral part of God’s people from the beginning of creation. This Sunday we engage in an experiment of discovery as we gaze directly at a most profound miracle, recounted by Luke in Acts 3. But what is the profound miracle? Join us this Sunday, and invite a friend as we interact together during a sermon entitled, “The dance we do.” Our sermon series and each sermon are published in the sermon section of our website each week, so please visit us online.
