I-75 South remains shut down hours after deadly crash involving pedestrian in Pasco County

A pedestrian was killed after they were involved in a crash along Interstate 75 in Pasco County, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said. The crash has shut down all southbound lanes since early Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. According to troopers, the crash happened in the southbound lanes on I-75 near SR-56 in Wesley Chapel. FDOT showed the crash was reported around 5:19 a.m. Few details have been released about the crash, but we do know the pedestrian died and at least one car was involved.
